About Anne Lagueux                    
Recognizing the need for senior assistance, Anne Lagueux  opened Comox Valley Elder Services in 2004.  In response to a growing number of requests from non-seniors, however, she has expanded the company’s services and changed its name to Rent-A-Relative in 2009.  She said the adult children’s comment she gets most often, “…my parent lives alone and I can’t be there…” is the inspiration behind the new name.   

Anne is a certified mental health caregiver and a certified raw-food chef.  She is also bilingual, speaking French and English.  Her van allows her to transport a wheelchair easily.  In addition, Anne is an artist and has a lot of experience with arts & crafts for the hobbyist or crafter who may need companionship as well.

Overnight stays, trips to a gallery or cultural event, and even pet visits when a person is hospitalized are all options when working with Anne.   Anne loves people and is happy to help…just ask her and count on it getting done!
